How Our Escrow System Works

Dufr Digital acts as a neutral third party, holding funds in escrow until the transaction is successfully completed. Here's how it works:

• Availability: Only for Merchants with a Master Vault Pass (MVP ROYAL)
• Merchant (Optional): Merchant decides to make it available or not on each transaction.
• Agreement: The client and merchant agree on the terms of the transaction, including product or service details and payment amount.
• Minimum Amount: $20.00 USD; any amount under will disable Escrow automatically.
• Payment: The client deposits funds into the Dufr Digital escrow account.
• Delivery: The merchant delivers the product or service as agreed.
• Release: Once the client is satisfied, they release the payment, and funds are transferred to the merchant.

Raising a Dispute

If there's an issue with the product or service, clients can raise a dispute to ensure their concerns are addressed fairly. Here's how our dispute process works:

• Initiate a Dispute: If the product or service does not meet the agreed terms, the client can open a dispute via the Email link receive on succesful payment.
• Dispute Form: Client have to completed the online form and click the Open Dispute button.
• Funds Held: The payment remains securely in escrow, preventing release to the merchant until the dispute is resolved.
• Moderator Review: A Dufr Digital moderator will review the case, considering evidence provided by both parties.
• Resolution: The moderator determines whether the funds should be:
  • Released 100% to the merchant if the terms were met.
  • Returned to the client (minus a 10% escrow and blockchain sending fee) if the terms were not met.

Releasing Payment

At any time, the client can choose to Release Payment if they are satisfied with the product or service. This action immediately terminates any open dispute, and the funds are transferred to the merchant.
